Gulf Shores Condo Auction Results
Thirty-three spacious and brand new condominiums at Emerald Green condominiums adjacent to the nine-hole Golf Resort in Gulf Shores were sold Saturday May 22, 2010 at auction for a total price of $4,659,000. Each of the 142 registered bidders from 14 states and Canada was required to bring $5,000 in personal check, business check or certified funds per one bedroom unit. The two bedroom units required $10,000. For the three bedroom units the requirement was $15,000. The auction was conducted by The National Auction Group, Inc. of Gadsden, Alabama, specialists in the auction of quality, high-end properties.
Condo market is alive and well
"Once again this demonstrates that the condo market is alive and well on the Gulf Coast for quality properties and shows that there’s no reason for developers to sit on unsold inventory when they can be sold efficiently and quickly by auction," said William Bone, President of National Auction Group. "Today we had a happy seller and many happy buyers and that is always our primary objective. Plus we had many bidders asking us when our next auction will be held. They were really fired up."
Special features
Special features in each condo include vaulted ceiling, tile floors in the living areas and carpeted bedrooms. Kitchens contain GE appliances including side-by-side refrigerators as well as granite countertops and custom made cabinets. Master baths include a garden tub and cultivated marble countertops. Washer and dryers are also included as well as access to high speed internet.
In addition to the 9-hole executive golf course, the community offers a security gate entry system, tennis court, pool, parking for each condo and on-site management seven days a week. Emerald Greens is just five minutes from the Gulf of Mexico beaches.
