Eastern Shore Real Estate on Mobile Bay

Spanish Fort, Daphne, Montrose, Fairhope,  Point Clear, Alabama

When you travel East from Mobile, Alabama on I-10 you will cross the Mobile Bay Causeway and enter the Eastern Shore area of Mobile Bay.  Be sure to take the first exit onto Highway 98 .  To the North will be the dynamic community of Spanish Fort and it's new found wealth of shopping and commerce.  To the South you will find the  wonderful communities of Daphne, Montrose, Fairhope, and Point Clear. We recommend that you find Scenic Highway 98 and ride this beautiful roadway from Daphne all the way to Point Clear.  You will find some of the most beautiful homes in the world shaded by tremendous live oaks and the grounds awash with huge azaleas.  There will be mansions and cottages all along Mobile Bay that were built generations ago as summer retreats for prominent families from Mobile and beyond.  This was "The Summer Retreat" before the beaches of South Baldwin County became so popular.  Midway down Scenic 98 you will find the Grand Hotel which has been popular with tourists all the way back to the beginning of the 1900's.  Continuing South there will be many fine Mobile Bay homes with landscaping that can only be imagined - many landscapes that are finely groomed and others that are more of a natural landscape that wildly shades the winding paths to the homes.
