Ono Island is a private gated community situated on an Island adjacent to Orange Beach, Alabama.  The ingress and egress are via one bridge that guards entry and exit.  The Island is situated with Old River to the South and Bayou Saint John to the North and is within Perdido Bay.  The Alabama / Florida State line is in the Old River channel and runs East to the tip of the Island and then around the tip travels back to the center of Perdido Bay and North from there.  Residents enjoy the lower property taxes of Alabama and still get to enjoy the beautiful white sands and emerald green waters that one would find on the Florida Panhandle coastal areas.
