The Wash House - Pt. Clear, AL

Known for its fine southern cusine in a historic, old south setting dating back to 1897.  My top menu picks include:

  • Shrimp Stack
  • Robert's Wedge
  • Chateabriand

Moe's Original Bar B Que - Daphne, AL

Founded by 3 ambitious college buddies from the University of Alabama, who shared a love for southern BBQ and music.  My top menu picks include:

  • Pulled Pork Plate
  • Baked Beans
  • Marinated Cole Slaw

Old Bay Steamer - Fairhope, AL

A favorite local spot for steamed seafood in the heart of Downtown Fairhope.  Check out the all you can eat snow crab legs on Tuesday nights!  My top menu picks include:

  • Seafood Gumbo
  • Shrimp & Crab Combo
  • Gourmet Turtle Cheesecake

Catering To You - Daphne, AL

Some of the best sandwiches and salads on the Eastern Shore.  Eveything is made to order from fresh ingredients daily.  My top menu picks include:

Guido's - Daphne, AL

Amazing Italian & Mediterranean dishes with a soul food flare in the heart of Old Town Daphne.  Hit this spot for lunch, as the prices jump $10 at dinner for the same menu items.  My top menu picks include:

  • Eggplant Parmesan
  • Shrimp & Grits

Tokyo Hibachi & Sushi - Fairhope, AL

I am more than a little biased on this one, as it is the closest sushi place from my house and my son loves the animated antics of the Hibachi Chef's.  However the food is great!  My top menu picks include:

  • Fairhope Roll
  • B-52 Roll
  • Sam I Am Roll

Wintzell's Oyster House - Fairhope & Orange Beach, AL

Wintzell's has locations all over the AL Gulf Coast,  yet my top spots are Fairhope and I am looking forward to the new Orange Beach location set to open in the very near future.  You can beat the raw oysters happy hour specials daily.  My top menu picks include:

  • Fried Dill Pickles
  • Homemade Lump Crab Cakes
  • Oyster Sampler

Cosmo's - Orange Beach, AL

This is hands down one of the best places to eat on the AL Gulf Coast period!  You can enjoy a romantic setting inside or enjoy a casual scene outside on the deck with some local live tunes.  Watch out during the peak months, as this spot can carry a long waiting list.  My top menu picks include:

  • Sesame Seared Tuna salad
  • Balck-N-Blue Shrimp wrap
  • Any Daily Special!

Lulu's - Gulf Shores, AL

Lulu's is named for Lucy Buffett, sister to Jimmy.  This is a great place for the whole family to enjoy an afternoon or evening on the Intercoastal Canal with the familar sounds of Jimmy Buffet reminding everyone that life is good!  My top menu picks include:

  • Cadillac Margarita
  • Crab Claws
  • Mahi Tacos

The Hangout - Gulf Shores, AL

The Hangout has been the coolest place to meet up with friends at the beach since the late 1950's.  Hurricane winds destroyed the original structure, yet The Hangout is back in a big way and offers the great food and the best scenery of any restaurant on the AL Gulf Coast.  My top menu picks include:

  • Shaka-Shaka Shrimp
  • Big Daddy "Baked" Stuffed Oysters
  • Alabama Cobb Salad
