T Boone Pickens has been around a long time. He is pretty knowledgeable about the oil industry. He comes across as a real patriot to me coming up with additional ideas for dealing with this Energy crisis and the squandering of our National Wealth. I wish our politicians seemed like they were on the right track with something for the common good of this country. Please watch this video and share with other concerned citizens!
I vote to start at Fort Morgan, AL and put a drilling rig every 10 miles all the way around Florida and up the East Coast. Rigs from Baja all the way up to the Yukon.
Or……… let those great populous States that put the most demand on energy whether for industry, private jets, multiple cars, or yachts pay a premium to subsidize the fuel costs of those citizens in States that are actively producing or would if they had any oil.
When the platforms on the Coastal areas become non-producing the infrastructure (pilings and platform) should be left in place for a windmill power distribution platform and windmills should go up all around the platform with the distribution cables run through the unneeded pipeline.
Let’s quit throwing our money away and do something sensible!

That looks like a plan that could work. Although I'm a Toronto real estate agent I try to keep informed about all major areas, such as energy distribution. Now, the windmill energy production is an area that is performing under its potential. Not only for the US but in the whole world it could be used as one of the major energy productions, replacing coal and oil production. The nature gives us much more opportunities than we are currently using. But, as was said in the video, it comes down to the right leadership. We have to walk in one direction.
