We wanted to provide a few screenshots to help you utilize our site to the fullest. By registering you can look to get e-mails from us on a weekly basis for a short period of time familiarizing you with our services. You will also be receiving a monthly schedule of events e-mail notifying you of concerts, festivals, and events on the Alabama Gulf Coast to help you better plan your visits around activities you like. You may opt out at any time and we do hope to provide you with information you wish to receive, not hound you with information you don’t want!When you have registered, you need to know how to log back in if you get logged out. Just visit the advanced search option as shown in the screenshot below:
Then look for the login button on the advanced search menu. If you have forgotten your login, simply visit the login page and select the option to have your password e-mailed to you:
After logging in, there are many advanced search options including search by property type, city, and complex or subdivision. The list of complexes or subdivisions to choose from is adjusted according to the cities you include.
If you select Condos in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, the condo complexes for Gulf Shores and Orange Beach will be appended to the search so that you can be selective of certain complexes or search all of them. If single family homes are selected, then the checkbox list will be populated with subdivisions. The more you explore, the more proficient you will become and you will be able to be very specific with what you are looking for.
Notice the options circled below. If you are not logged in, you will not see your favorite listings or saved searches. If you can’t find them, log in.
The most powerful thing about this system is that your saved searches will notify you by e-mail of all new properties on the market that meet your saved search criteria. This is great for buyers, but it is also a very nice way for owners to keep up with what is going on in their subdivision or complex. Just define your search and click the save and search button. This option will not be available if you are not logged in.
Our favorite is the map search! Notice that you can define a search for bay front properties within a certain price range that must have boat facilities. The map will display properties meeting that criteria and you can see the details or save them to favorites right from the map application. Please note that due to the large number of properties, the map is limited in the number that will display. Make sure you filter your criteria to best utilize this feature.
To see your favorite properties or saved searches, simply make sure you are logged in, go to the advanced search page, and look for the Favorite Listings and Saved Searches buttons.
These are saved as favorite listings.
Below are some saved searches and when I am prompted to name them, I usually include some of the search criteria in the name so that it is easy to find what I am looking for. Note the descriptive search names I used below. Important – when you save a search, a box will pop up telling you “Did you notice the information bar?” this is letting you know that you must approve the script to save your search by clicking the bar at the base of the browser menu frame. When approved, this script simply pops up a box to enter the name of your saved search – you can not save a search without doing this.
And of course since you have registered you have already seen the nice extensive property details. We give you as much information as the MLS allows us to. If there are not many pictures or very little information, then the listing agent did not provide much.
