The convenient proximity of Orange Beach adds to its appeal. With only about an hour’s drive from Pensacola, Florida, and Mobile, Alabama airports, and only about a day's drive to a large portion of the southeast; this area is ideal for quick getaways.
Orange Beach AL real estate is characterized by single family homes, inland and waterfront, and condominiums. Furnished vacation rentals are widely available; just choose a property management firm and you're in business. Beach houses provide the ultimate in waterfront living. Condos - family fun on the Gulf!

Things to Do in Orange Beach
Artisans are drawn to Orange Beach because it seems to have more than its share of artistic talent. Visit the Orange Beach Art Center, located in the refurbished Orange Beach Hotel overlooking Wolf Bay to view the work of local artists.
Orange Beach is also home to the largest Charter fishing fleet on the Gulf of Mexico. In fact the city was founded by boat builders and charter fishermen, and this is evident with the availability of fishing charters, dolphin cruises and competitions including the renowned Red Snapper World Championship.
Festivals are common in Orange Beach including the annual family-friendly Mardi-Gras Parade, the Southern Breeze Wine & Culinary Festival, Waterfront Festival of Art, and the Orange Beach Seafood Festival.
Scuba Divers come from all over the world to explore the largest artificial reef in the world created by the sinking of the 888 foot, USS Oriskany Aircraft Carrier. This is an attraction that generates about $3.6 million per year in tourist revenue.
Dining here is a treat, especially if you like seafood. It's a local specialty that's compared to some of the best in the country. You'll find restaurants to satisfy every mood, whether it be a luxury dining experience, a beach pub, or open air restaurant, you have plenty to choose from.
