The Woodlands Subdivision is situated in close proximity to three wonderful towns: Daphne, Spanish Fort, and Fairhope. The Eastern Shore Mall & shopping Center, Premiere Theater 14 and Eastern Shore Lanes along with many good restaurants are located in Spanish Fort. Fairhope and Daphne have a very active art scene with many galleries, gift shops, and a mixture of high-end and funky artistry shops. Fairhope has 1st Friday art walk and there is live music at many restaurants. You can also take in a breathtaking sunset while having dinner at one the many restaurant.Living in the Woodlands at Malbis has been a great experience. We could not have asked

Mobile Bay Eastern Shore Market Stats - April 2013
The real estate market in Fairhope, Daphne, and Spanish Fort continues to show signs of improvement.
The average sales price for April 2013 is $239,596, which is 7.77% higher than it was in April 2012. The median sales price rose 8.5%, to $216,990. The number of sales increased by 18.69%, to 127 sales, and the average days on market decreased 16.15% to 161 days.
Inventory is much lower this year than it was last year. On April 30, 2013, there were 770 active listings in Daphne, Spanish Fort, and Fairhope. That is a 10.88% decrease in the number of homes for sale. Based on the sales over the past 12 onths, we have about 7 months of inventory on the market. That is drastically lower than the 9.44 months of inventory we had at this time last year.

- East Shore Cafe - 1506 Main St. Daphne, AL - Casual dining inside ot outside with excellent service. Quaint little cafe with a cozy atmosphere. I recommend their crab cake sandwich.
- Master Joe's - 21 North Section St. Fairhope, AL - Fresh, delicious sushi. One of my favorite menu items is the Lost in Translation, it offers a little bit of everything for people like myself who have a hard time picking just one thing.
